I live in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia with 3 cats, 2 northern dogs and a very patient David.
I run a theatre company, www.tumbleweedstheatre.ca and started knitting 4 years ago to still my theatre brain at night.
I discovered there is something really magical about taking strands of wool and having your fingers create something, one stitch at a time
SeaChild's
journey began last winter when my littlest cat Nessa, continued to
sleep in a cold bowl.
She looked uncomfortable, but would not give it up
so I created a felted cat bed based on Wendy Johnson's Kitty pi pattern
and blocked the bed inside the bowl. Thanks for a wonderful pattern Wendy!
I
started to take orders casually through the Feline Diabetes Message
Board, www.felinediabetes.com ,and giving a percentage to cats in need.
From
there I saw a wonderful opportunity to help more deserving cats and
people, and give our furries a little comfort at the same time.
Well.... who knew that the furries would love these felted creations so much?

My little "cattage" industry blossomed and people with big hearts and happy furries have been ordering ever since.
I
love them because they look like a pie shell, and while the original
pattern used the "pi " equation to create them, I like to think of them
with special kinds of furry pie filling!
This one below comes with its own brand of Nessa filling!
What kind of filling will yours have?
